Consider your style and your space: You’ll want to choose a floor that fits in with the rest of the flooring in your home and that complements your decor and furnishings. For example:
- If you tend to have more traditional furniture or furniture that has been passed down to you, chances are you’ll prefer a traditional looking floor. Whereas, if you have a more updated style you may prefer a sleeker, more contemporary floor design or design in a more modern color like gray.
- Think about the adjoining rooms and consider the direction that you walk through the room you’re renovating. This will help you determine the best direction that the floor should be laid, and you’ll most likely want to choose a floor that fits in with the style of the floors in rooms nearby.
Once you begin to get an idea of the floor you’re looking for, browse our product selection in the studio. These samples are nice for getting an idea of the texture of the floor and a preview of the color. Plus, if you’re completely remodeling the room, these are easy to carry around with you as you select paint colors, countertops or cabinets. We are more than willing to let you take samples home with you if they can be returned within a few days. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.
